Dr. Kiyoka Hansen, O.D.

Dr. Kiyoka Hansen attended the University of California, Berkeley where she received an undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cell Biology. She liked Berkeley so much, she stayed to attend the University of California Berkeley School of Optometry where she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society. During her optometry program she received extensive ocular disease training through VA hospitals in Hillsboro, OR and Fresno, CA. She also completed a clinical internship with specialized training in Traumatic Brain Injury at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

Dr. Hansen is passionate about finding the best way to correct your vision problems with glasses or contacts. She is also certified to manage glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and many other eye diseases.

Dr. Hansen resides in the Mission District with her husband Scott and loves to explore the food, music and culture of this neighborhood. She is excited to join Stamper Optometry and looks forward to providing exceptional service and quality eye care.
